Tomato kheema recipe

What is unique about this recipe?

This would be loved by all, and it a typical home kitchen recipe. Tomatoes play a vital role in most curries and gravies. In this recipe, we dominate the lovely taste of tomatoes along with lamb minced flavoured with spices. 

We can make this recipe more unique by improving it to taste. We can add fresh green peas, or and kasoori methi to add more flavors to this recipe. 

It has to be served along with Mithi Daal and Bhagara Rice. We can also relish this with Rotis and Naan.

Ingredients for Tomato ka Kheema

Minced Meat ½ kg

Tomatoes 8-10

Onion 1-2 finely chopped

Oil 2-3 tablespoon

Green chilies 2 finely chopped

Turmeric 1teaspoon

Red chili powder 2 teaspoons

Salt to taste

Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoons

Garam masala powder 1teaspoon

Coriander ½ a bunch of finely chopped coriander

Method


Take oil in a heavy-bottomed pan or Kadai

Saute the  chopped onions till it turns soft and translucent

At this point, it is time to add the green chillies turmeric and salt

Lower the flame at this point and add in the ginger garlic paste and keep stirring the ingredients till you get to smell the aromatic smell of ginger and garlic

Add the chili powder and mix well

To the above mixture add the minced meat and keep stirring the meat to prevent the meat from forming lumps.

At this point add  the garam masala powder and mix well

After the meat gets well cooked in the chopped tomatoes and keep the dish to simmer on low flame for 20-25 minutes by occasionally stirring in between

Garnish the dish with coriander and serve hot with Bhagara rice or Rotis
