To the diced lamb pieces add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, and garam masala powder
and give all the ingredients a good mix
In a heavy-bottomed pan or vessel, heat a teaspoon of oil and add the above marinade
As the meat begins to cook, add about 1/2 a glass of water and cover with a lid, leaving the meat to simmer on low flame for about 25-30 minutes
Carry on cooking the meat on low flame until the meat turns tender and the gravy turns nearly dry
Switch off the gas flame at this point and leave the mixture to cool
Once the meat has cooled, blend the meat mixture in a blender till soft
If the meat seems to have turned too dry then you could add a tablespoon of yogurt in order to grind it smoothly
Empty the blended meat out of the grinder jar into a bowl
Now pinch out small portions of the blended meat and roll them into lemon sized balls
Pierce the meatballs onto the wooden sticks
Repeat this process with all the prepared meatballs
Now heat oil in a Kadai or frying pan, deep frying two or three balls each time on medium flame
